Claudia Brant was born in Argentina and started writing songs when she was 6 years old. She signed with Warner Music as an artist at 22 and released two very successful albums in South America. She won both the OTI songwriting contest in 1991 and the Viña del Mar songwriting contest in 1995. In 1998 she moved to California to pursue a songwriter and producer career. Since then, Claudia has established an average of 40 cuts per year in different genres and languages (Spanish, Portuguese and English).

She has been nominated for 5 Latin Grammys as songwriter, artist and producer and won a Latin Grammy for Song of the Year in 2009. She was awarded SESAC Latin Songwriter of the Year for three consecutive years: 2007-2009 and ASCAP Latina Songwriter of the Year in 2012 and 2015.

Claudia’s song “No Me Doy Por Vencido” was named “Song of the Decade” by Billboard Magazine after holding the #1 spot of the Latin Charts for a record 19 consecutive weeks.

Some of Claudia’s songs have been featured in films: “I’m not the only one,” end title for the blockbuster movie “Spare Parts” (Pantaleon/Lionsgate), “Esperanza Viva” for Ladron que Roba a Ladron (Pantaleon/Lionsgate), “Vivir al borde” for 7 days in Havana.

In 2017 Claudia was named Spotify’s Secret Genius Latin Ambassador. She hosted and curated the main Latin Songcamp for Spotify in Miami (February 2018).

Claudia is currently serving as National Trustee for The Recording Academy (LA chapter). She was named VP West Coast of The Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame, where she was inducted in 2016. In addition, she was nominated twice as a candidate for the ASCAP Board of Directors.

Claudia lives in Los Angeles and recently formed her new company, Brantones On Demand, to specialize in music for film and TV.

Her upcoming singles include; “Corazon Valiente” and “Sexo debil” by Victoria La Mala (Roc Nation), “Sola” by Jessie Reyez and “Lloviendo alegría” by Malú.

She released her full-length album “SINCERA” on Friday September 28 2018, recorded at East west studios in LA. The album was produced by Ezequiel “Cheche” Alara and Antonio “Moogie” Canazio, and includes 4 duets featuring Antonio Carmona, Alex Cuba, La Marisoul Hernandez and Arnaldo Antunes.
